He looks pretty white to me. And they never say that Ang was Asian, just inspired by Asian characters.

heres a question thats off topic how comes when hollywood do an film adaptation of an asian anime or asian based film instead of hring a Asian-American actor they hire a White actor as the lead.

look at the whole situation with the casting of Avatar The Last Airbender movie all the heros are been played by White actors and the villain is Asian. they could of at least made the cast of the heros more diverse.

The King of Fighters live action movie coming out next year the movie will suck anyway but casting Sean Faris to play a japanese character Kyo Kusanagi is just insulting.

I can see where you are coming from, but honestly, the last bad remake I saw was Prom Night, and that was based off of a shitty film to begin with.

well the older people maybe had a problem but once again the 80s was a great time for movies. remaking all the classic 80s movies nowadays sucks cause remakes nowadays have not been not good at all. look at the new idea for the Karate Kid remake the kid learns karate first from playing a nintendo wii LOL.

if hollywood do a remake of Scarface watch ever going to protest against that even rappers would even protest about Scarface remake lol.

but im for certain movies to be reboot i.e. Superman. WB should reboot Superman and follow some elements from the comicbooks make Lex have his company and ruthless and have Superman fight a supervillain. plus dont have Bryan Singer direct the reboot he made Superman Returns boring.

Youre missing my point. The previous generation always finds the entertainment of the next to be crude and not good.
I mean, how do you think older people felt when they heard ‘The Thing’ and ‘Scarface’ were getting remade?

And, a modern day crime thriller remake of Scarface would rule hardcore.

Like what our great grandparents did with Jazz.

Like our parents did with Nirvana.

And, a modern Scarface would be quite good imo.
