I really do agree with your review. I can see where your rating is coming from, Iain. The movie is honestly outstanding when it comes to the overall visual stimulation and special effects. The 3d just immerses you into the world. As for the story, it is obviously not the most well crafted plot ever made, but it’s definitely good enough to support the visual aspect of the film. As for the comparison with Star Wars, that couldn’t have been described any better.

Wow Reecy, you feel really strongly about this.

I agree with you on the visuals and I thought i’d got that across in my review. The impact and ripple effect of this films visual will be seen in cinema for perhaps decades to come.

It’s beautiful, well crafted and you can see the effort that everyone, not just Cameron has put into this film but like I said, I think the story was good, but not great

I expected more from the story. Thats just my opinion and I’m sure the rest of the staff and readers will also share their thoughts.

a B+………………. you really are just a toffee try hard film critic. This is perhaps the greatest movie ever made. Stuff your star trek references and unoriginal story lines. Its unique. visually stunning and an incredible story. A++ or you really should go sit with your copies of men in black and cry.

Fantastic, loved everything about this movie. The 3D was immense and was just a truely awesome experience from start to finish. The world James Cameron has created in Pandora was just amazing and I am itching to see this movie again in 3D. WOW.

After this review, I’m looking forward to this movie more. I figured the story would be just as you described it but hearing about the special effects definitely has gotten me excited, I thought they would look too fakey.
