The Boondock Saints Prayer Poster Giveaway

First, we tell you that you need to vote to get the original film into the theaters for it’s 10 year anniversary. Then, we let you know that whatever it is you did paid off because the film gets its showing. Now, in addition to getting to see this cult classic on the big screen, you get a chance to win something great.


To celebrate The Boondock Saints 10th Anniversary Event, we have two posters signed by writer/director Troy Duffy to giveaway, courtesy of www.boondocksaints.com. Details after the jump.




Because this is such an amazing addition to anyone’s wall art, we want to make sure that it goes to someone who helped make the film what it is. This needs to go to a die hard Boondock Saints fan, so the entry to the contest is simple. Send us a picture of your ticket stub for the 10th anniversary showing on March 11th, and you’re entered. No ticket? You have time, so you better get to it. Too bad I’m not eligible!

The Boondock Saints 10th Anniversary Event

EVENT OVERVIEW
The cult classic and 2000 crime thriller, The Boondock Saints is back in movie theatres nationwide for an exclusive one night event featuring a brand new retrospective on the franchise’s ten year journey! On Thursday, March 11th at 7:30pm join Troy Duffy, the original creator/Director and Writer, and stars of the film Norman Reedus (Murphy MacManus), Sean Patrick Flanery (Conner MacManus), David Della Rocco, Clifton Collins Jr., Bob Marley, Brian Mahoney and others in celebration of The Boondock Saints 10th Anniversary.

Don’t miss your opportunity to see the drama unfold on a 40 foot screen with never-before-seen interviews with Troy and cast members. Just in time for St. Patrick’s Day, decide for yourself whether these Irish brothers are good or evil in their quest for Veritas (truth) and Aequitas (justice).

EVENT DETAILS
This event will begin with a special introduction from Troy Duffy, the original creator/Director and Writer of The Boondock Saints.

Audiences will then be treated to the feature where fraternal brothers Connor & Murphy MacManus embark upon a mission to rid Boston of human evil. After killing two members of the Russian mafia in self-defense, these hard-drinking brothers take the law into their own hands. No public outcry is heard and even FBI agent Paul Smecker begins to feel that the brothers are doing a good deed.

The event will conclude with an exclusive interview with Troy, the cast members and others who were and are part of The Boondock Saints’ decade long journey. In addition to this ten year retrospective, there will be a sneak peek into the mobile games, comics, graphic novels and more that are currently in development. Finally, fans will be treated to special performance clips by The Dirges, Ty Stone and Taylor Duffy whose music is part of the upcoming soundtrack to Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day.


The Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day on DVD/Blu-ray:

The sequel to the cult indie film, which remains one of the top-selling DVDs, catches up with the McManus brothers as they return to Boston after being framed for the murder of a priest. Joined by a new accomplice, the Saints exact vengeance on those responsible and discover a deeper plot rooted in their own family’s legacy of violence. Joining original cast members Sean Patrick Flanery, Norman Reedus, David Della Rocco and Billy Connolly are Clifton Collins Jr., Julie Benz, Peter Fonda and Judd Nelson.

The releases will contain lots of bonus materials and extra features. The DVD will be available for the suggested retail price of $27.96, while the Blu-ray will retail for $34.95.
