Last night I went to my first preview/screening of a finished film, The Crazies. While the experience itself was a trip (check out our forum for details on the very “viral” structure of it all), what really matters is the quality of the film itself. UPDATE: Make that four new sites found.
Well, talk about a viral campaign. Tron Legacy is still coming out with new viral sites, clues, and so much more. I’ve been working with Unfiction and many others to keep all of our readers up-to-date on the latest, and I’m trying my hardest continue to do so. These new updates are immense, so read more after the jump (and see how the bits were made)!
MovieViral.com has discovered the site that FlynnLives is leading us to, Pit Cell. The page describes an “exclusive event” for FlynnLives members in 5 international IMAX theaters. The event will take place February 27th, and tickets will become available tomorrow, February 25th. More after the jump.
Right now cities around the world have locations in arcades where you can get a code for the new Tron Legacy Flynn Lives ARG. The question is, what is the experience like, and what exactly do you get? Luckily we have a play-by-play by a player (or “operative”) who got the Paris code.

For those following the Tron Legacy viral, the coded countdown just ended on the Zero Hours Flynn Lives website, and now there’s a game board on said site. On it, there’s the list of cities, what looks like a game board with squares that have random numbers, and an empty list of “field operatives” along with what might be another game board. We reported yesterday that The Union had decided that people who have fallen behind in their payments will have their Artiforg’s reposed. Now The Union’s Human Resources Department are looking for Repo Men to chase down those unfortunate souls who have their artificial implants inside them.
In a tribute to the fans of The Lord of the Rings, Peter Jackson included all the charter members of the Lord of the Rings fan club on the credits of the DVD release of the trilogy. This resulted in very very long credits but provided a nice tribute to the fanbase that had supported Jackson and the films. Now LOST fans are taking a cue from this event.

As our Comic-Con 09 reporters Kelsey and Rose can attest, the popularity of the convention has grown significantly over the past few years. Over 130,000 people attended the event last year (almost double the attendance from just 6 years before), and the San Diego Convention Center is having trouble accomodating everyone. So, what’s the solution for this overcrowding? It could possibly be moving to Disneyland.
