Celebrate Star Wars Day By Putting Yourself in The Empire Strikes Back Dan Koelsch, May 4, 2010 Today, May 4th, is the unofficial Star Wars Day. Why this day? Does “May the 4th be with you” sound familiar? While the date has not gained ground in creating any kind of large activities, many Star Wars fans use the day to re-watch the old Trilogy and maybe even have a lightsaber duel or two. However, if you really want to be part of the Star Wars universe, you do have one option. Find out after the break. The comedy website JibJab came onto the Internet scene with the political animated video “This Land is Your Land“. They have now expanded to making videos that allow you to put your face onto characters. In celebration of the 30th anniversary of Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back‘s theater release on May 21st, 1980, they have a new project. Just add photos of you and your friends to some of the main characters, and make a hilarious Star Wars video starring you! Check out the video I made, starring some of the MovieViral Staff and a certain celebrity, by clicking on the screen-cap below. You can share the video with your friends, and even download it for a price. You can also do the same thing with A New Hope and Return of the Jedi, though you have to be a member (read: pay money) to access those. If you make a video, share the link in the comments below!
