Check Out Episode 3 of “The Inside Experience”

The “Social Film Experience” from director DJ Caruso titled Inside continues on with Episode 3, which was released this weekend. The interactive web series is about Christina Perasso (played by Emmy Rossum), who has been kidnapped but can still connect to the outside world with a Toshiba laptop left in the room with her (Toshiba and Intel are sponsors for the web series). By interacting with Christina across multiple social media platforms on the web, you can help her survive and eventually find out who kidnapped her and how to escape. Shark Week Takes A Bite Out of YouTube

Briefly: Discovery Channel’s famous Shark Week starts tonight at 9PM, and they have created a YouTube splash page starring comedian Andy Samberg as Chief Shark Officer. After a shark breaks through the page and causes a mess, you can watch clips from this year’s shows with intros from Samberg himself. Check out the watery page and let us know what you think!

A Shortened ‘Avengers’ Teaser Assembles On Yahoo!

In a surprising move, Paramount has released a condensed version of the final scene from Captain America: The First Avenger, along with a shortened cut of The Avengers teaser trailer that was shown following Captain America’s credits. While bootleg versions of the teaser have been circulating the net for a few weeks, this is a great opportunity to get a glimpse of the Avengers assembling. Cooper’s Dell Site Update Gives Hope to “Red State” Viral Activity

Kevin Smith effectively shut down any hopes of viral campaigns when he announced that he would be the one distributing Red State. But there are some signs of hope that a viral campaign could be reactivated when Smith said that he would distribute the film to the public via video on demand, then through Lionsgate. Fan-Made Poster Combines “The Avengers” Concept Art

Marvel gave away character posters at Comic-Con this weekend that featured concept art of several of the main heroes from The Avengers movie due out next year. They match up together to make a pretty cool banner (seen above), but my friend Matt found a fan-made image that combines the characters together into a more standard size poster. The Bat Signal Shines In Pittsburgh

Batman loyalists shine his symbol on a city skyscraper yet again! To commemorate filming starting this week in Pittsburgh for The Dark Knight Rises, local tech companies Idea Foundry and Lightwave International displayed the symbol on the Highmark building. Check it out after the jump.
