There are a ton of reasons why we should all be excited about Guardians of the Galaxy. Yes it’s another film from Marvel Studios. Yes, it’ll be tied into that cinematic universe. And Yes, it involves superheroes. But the Guardians are your ordinary heroes. They are made up of a thief, an assassin, two thugs, and a maniac. And while that may sound like your usual rag tag anti-hero group, you should still watch this latest marketing featurette for Guardians of the Galaxy, because it’s pretty hilarious.

In it, we get to see the Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, and Bradley Cooper talk about their respective characters. Of course there is new footage that is included in it, but watching Bautista not only talk about Drax, but watching Drax try to prove to to the group that he is the smartest one in the room is funny.

Hit the jump to check it out.

Directed by James Gunn, Guardians of the Galaxy stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Lee Pace, Karen Gillan, Djimon Hounsou, John C. Reilly, Glenn Close, and Benicio Del Toro with the voice talents of Vin Diesel and Bradley Cooper. The film opens in theaters on August 1.

An action-packed, epic space adventure, Marvel’s “Guardians of the Galaxy” expands the Marvel Cinematic Universe into the cosmos, where brash adventurer Peter Quill finds himself the object of an unrelenting bounty hunt after stealing a mysterious orb coveted by Ronan, a powerful villain with ambitions that threaten the entire universe. To evade the ever-persistent Ronan, Quill is forced into an uneasy truce with a quartet of disparate misfits—Rocket, a gun-toting raccoon, Groot, a tree-like humanoid, the deadly and enigmatic Gamora and the revenge-driven Drax the Destroyer. But when Quill discovers the true power of the orb and the menace it poses to the cosmos, he must do his best to rally his ragtag rivals for a last, desperate stand—with the galaxy’s fate in the balance.
