The first trailer for Colin Trevorrow’s Jurassic World does not arrive until this coming Thursday, right on time for Thanksgiving. However, Universal has decided to start the hype train now – debuting a 15 second teaser for the trailer online, across various social media platforms. Get your first look at the movie after the jump!
The trailer does not reveal much, but shows you can expect the classic visual nuances of the iconic franchise. The giant doors to the park, the dinosaurs running down the valleys, and the control room – which features newcomers Bryce Dallas Howard and Chris Pratt. All of these flashing shots are backed by a piano version of the John Williams theme from the first three films. Universal revealed this very brief teaser across Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. Check it out below:
As the teaser notes, the trailer will debut on Thursday during the Thanksgiving Day football presentation on NBC. It will also premiere online at the same time, 6 PM PST/9 PM EST, which is the exact time the countdown we reported last week will end.
‘Jurassic World’ opens in theaters nationwide on June 12th, 2015.
