Of course 2015 will have Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Avengers: Age Of Ultron, Ant-Man, two Pixar films, and a more sequels than you can count. But the one film that we definitely should be keeping an eye out for is Mad Max: Fury Road.

George Miller returns to the automotive post-apocalyptic thriller set the in vast wastelands. Honestly, after watching this trailer, you will wonder how this film got made in the first place. Then you will realize that Mad Max: Fury Road is the reason why we go to the movies in the first place. Hit the jump to see the trailer.

The trailer isn’t like anything we have seen in recent years. It be an understatement to call the trailer absolutely insane. By the looks of things Mad Max: Fury Road looks like an adrenaline pumping thrill ride that feels like a shock to the system. Exactly the kind of film we need. Put it simply, it just looks cool to watch.

Tom Hardy
will play Max this time. Joining him will be Charlize Theron who will play the Imperator, Furiosa. The film also stars Nicholas Hoult (X-Men: Days of Future Past) as Nux. Returning for a new role is Mad Max alum Hugh Keays-Byrne, who will play Immortan Joe.

The world goes mad Summer 2015.

Haunted by his turbulent past, Mad Max believes the best way to survive is to wander alone. Nevertheless, he becomes swept up with a group fleeing across the Wasteland in a War Rig driven by an elite Imperator, Furiosa. They are escaping a Citadel tyrannized by the Immortan Joe, from whom something irreplaceable has been taken. Enraged, the Warlord marshals all his gangs and pursues the rebels ruthlessly in the high-octane Road War that follows.
