FAR FROM HOME just sprung a new trailer on us. It ROCKS!
It speaks for itself though do note Tom Holland’s warning that this by its nature, contains spoilers for ENDGAME ; so..swing carefully!
Why do I love this?
- MARVEL remembering to be FUN! LIGHT! HOPEFUL! Yes there is darkness and loss and reflection. But also..a way out of that. No wallowing!
- There is a solid balance of globe trotting day in the life vs friendly neighbourhood Spidey.
- A mix of suits to please the purists and those who have no problem with Iron Man Spidey Junior.
- Extended universe characters are referenced but in a manner that serves the narrative rather than vice versa. Bravo! This is exactly like the comics now. And still a self contained movie.
- Happy Hogan: hilarious!
- Does not shy away from a recent loss in that cinematic universe that we all feel at present. This might help bus move on?
- Gives away just enough to get what the pitch is but not TOO much so one can still feel surprised yet adequately prepped for the film’s release.
- Tom Holland: shaping up to be an excellent leading man with a very promising career ahead of him.
- ‘BITCH, PLEASE!’ (You will know it when you see/hear it).
FAR FROM HOME webs its way to Cinemas in July. We look forward to seeing it then.
