DEEP FAKES: Jim Carrey IS Jack Nicholson in THE SHINING!
This makes sense. Carrey always had a darker side (Cable Guy, Number 23) and indeed played a Batman villain (The Riddler). So it’s not that much of a stretch to paste Jim onto Jack. Does it work: yes. Is it uncanny and scary as in scarier than the actual movie: sure! Though I’d be more impressed if they made a Jim Carrey Joker or a Nicholson Riddler 🙂

THE LION KING /MULAN / LITTLE MERMAID
We already know that FROZEN 2 is on the way: great! But that’s just animation. They’ve not live action-ed it, yet. Meantime, the CGI Lion King is opening: granted some mixed reviews but it should still be a massive hit. Also: plenty to look forward to with a casting announcement on Little Mermaid and a teaser trailer for MULAN.
