BAD BATCH! ANDOR! EWAN!
So, more Star Wars..stuff.
It’s very easy to be cynical about this. Yes, Disney get it wrong on occasion. That sequel trilogy was missed opp. Boba Fett was dull. But at least we have this content and can take or leave it.
- ANDOR does look promising. I loathe the fact that they have (w) anchor-headed it around the dullest, least charismatic, cut price Han Solo wannabe ever. But the content, premise and visuals look sublime. MON MOTHMA is a BABE!
- BAD BATCH Series 2 has an Emperor Palps cameo and its animation is crisp, clear, immersive stuff. I enjoyed its first season so await more, with great interest.
- The panels were great fun. Ewan McGregor did a diplomatic job here. It is not his natural habitat. But he was kind to the fans and gentlemanly with his colleagues old and new. The kid has matured. There is still a BIT Of that Scots obsession with farting (David Tennant does the same thing: why?? stop it, lads). But genuinely, generally, charming and hinted at more Kenobi, too!
