VVRU: Super Bowl Edition Caleb Hamilton, February 6, 2012February 6, 2012 Volkswagen had a hit on their hands during last year’s Super Bowl with their “Little Darth Vader” commercial. This year, they sorta did a sequel? I wasn’t sure what to make of it because the Star Wars plot twist seemed really out of place and forced (no pun intended). http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=UY9GdLw2kG0NBC broadcasted the Super Bowl this year and used that to its advantage to push a few of its new and returning shows. We saw this promo for the new series, Awake, starring Jason Isaacs as a detective who loses his family in a horrible accident. When he wakes up, his mind has created two realities: one in which his wife survived the accident, and in the other, his son. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=TJdEpvJmj2UDisney showed off footage of its upcoming film, John Carter. You can check out the extended teaser below. Another new NBC show that we’ve been seeing a lot lately. Smash, NBC’s grown-up answer to Glee premieres tonight at 10 PM EST/ 9PM Central. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=2pOQZ1QUVQ0PROCEED TO PAGE 3 OF VVRU: SUPER BOWL EDITION!Pages: 1 2 3 Features Viral Marketing Viral Video Round Up Viral Videos Act of ValorAcuraAwakeBattleshipFerris Bueller's Day OffHondaMarvel StudiosMarvel's The AvengersMetlife InsuranceNBCSeinfeldsmashStar WarsSuper Bowl XLVIThe Celebrity ApprenticeThe LoraxUniversal StudiosVolkswagen

There are a few movie characters sprinkled in as well, but no one is perfect. The choices are rather ingenious, such as Forrest Gump teaching Track &… Read More
South Park Pokes Fun at Avatar November 13, 2009November 13, 2009Never before have I seen a film parodied and mocked over a month before its theatrical release. Such is the case though when the film is Avatar and the expectations are monumental. Apparently Matt Stone and Trey Parker became aware the growing hype and decided to cash in on it with… Read More
