Dan Koelsch, the Executive Editor of MovieViral.com, is currently attending a screening of Repo Men in Orange County, CA. While waiting in line, he was handed a map to find “The Shaggy Man.” The map contained a sequence of numbers and letters randomly spread out all across the Irvine Spectrum Center where the screening is taking place. We reported a week ago that a new site viral site for Tron Legacy, ArcadeAid.com, allowed you to create an Encom International badge upon completion of a pretty fun-but-tough game. Today, participants have been receiving their badges and it’s lead us to a new website for Encom employees only. More on these badges and the new site after the jump.
/Film had the chance to visit the Tron Legacy set back in June of 2009, and they’ve got some great pictures from the event. The images show a night club in the computer world, and feature Jeff Bridges, who stared in the original Tron some 25+ years ago. /Film also had a chance to interview Jeff Bridges, which you can read here. LikeTotallyAwesome has uploaded a video featuring a Q&A with the cast of Kick-Ass, following the premiere of the film. As we reported yesterday, a series of new posters have propagandized the film, encouraging people to start fighting crime. So far reviews for the film have been nothing but positive. Universal Studios will be hosting multiple screenings of Repo Men for registered Repo Men, in select areas. The Union announced earlier today a list of areas which will be holding the event and how to obtain tickets. It’s described as a training video staring Level 5 Repo Men Remy and Jake. All you have to do is send an email to Universal and hope you’re one of the first five to do so in that area. Details after the jump.
Have you ever wanted to infiltrate Enocm International? Well, now you can. A new Tron Legacy viral game can help you out – if you’re worthy. The game was found within the most recent update on the FlynnLives discussion forums. It leads us to Arcade Aid, which seems to be a website for arcade-related repairs, but it also includes this hidden link. It’s a game which will test your knowledge of, well, games. Upon completion, you will be taken to a website where you can infiltrate Ecnom and make your very own Encom I.D. badge (which you’ll get in the mail). More after the jump.
If you were listening to today’s live RepoCast, you would’ve been among the first to hear that two of the four runners have been captured. Both Ciji and Usman were both repo-ed together at Seabrook Roller Skating Rink in Lanham, MD. MovieViral had the exclusive chance to talk with GenevaC, the lucky repo (wo)man caught Ciji and Usman, and who is now $15,000 richer. In addition, the first recording of RepoCast! A new viral website has been revealed for Tron Legacy by compiling a string of codes that appear during this video. The codes, once combined, lead to this website. Over at Unfiction, they cracked all four puzzles which pointed them directly to the trailer that is attached to Alice in Wonderland. Check out the trailer after the jump.
