Jacob Degloshi is a character in the Paranormal Activity ARG universe who is haunted by the same demon from the movies. The movie franchise may have dwindled down to pinpoint formula and stupid characters, but the viral is still standing strong…or was. Details after the break.

Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter Review

I haven’t read the book that Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter is based on, and I never plan to. You shouldn’t have to do homework to enjoy a movie, and the idea is ironic considering this film rewrites history. It’s a joke that lasts for 90 minutes, but does it rely on it to entertain you? Find out after the jump.

Movie Review: Prometheus

It’s not an Alien prequel, they said. It’s just set in the same universe, they said. Whatever the warnings, Prometheus is still a film that shouldn’t disappoint. It explores the universe of Alien, and if you are exploring the universe of something it could ruin how you view the original. So, what does Prometheus contribute to one of the greatest films of all time? Find out in my spoilerish review after the break.

Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance Review

The first Ghost Rider movie may have sucked, but the character made it worth watching. Ghost Rider is just the definition of badassery when it comes to Marvel’s antiheroes, and at least that was established in the first movie. He holds his popularity solely on his looks and style. This time, Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance tries to be more than that with the filmmakers realizing what comes first, and not falling on its ass by fooling itself on emotional storytelling. All hell puns are unintentional after the jump.

Movie Review: Chronicle

They say Chronicle is a rip off of Akira. I’ve never seen Akira, and chose not to, so I can come into this movie with a clean perspective and walk out with an idea of how Akira might be. After seeing this film, Akira must be f***ing awesome! Though, I doubt it had the deadliest filmmaker in the world. Read my review of Chronicle after the jump.

Movie Review: Red Tails

George Lucas nowadays has a talent; he takes something from your past, pets it, gives it a nice look, then makes it act stupid. It doesn’t really matter if he’s the executive producer or the key grip. This time he goes way back to World War II with the movie Red Tails, and it is inspired by The Tuskegee Airmen and their true stories. They were an all African-American US fighter group that was basically the embodiment of success when it came to aviation victories. I was actually excited when I heard about this movie 2 days ago because World War II air battles were an inspiration for the spectacular Star Wars air battles, and it really shows here. Does this movie honor the greatest World War II pilots we ever had? Find out after the jump.
