Fan Made Poster For “Carrie” Remake Gets Director’s Attention

Brian De Palma’s 1976 horror film Carrie is just one of the more recent classic films to get a remake, which is due out next year. The new film stars Chloë Moretz (Kick-Ass, Let Me In) in the titular role, and is being directed by Boys Don’t Cry helmer Kimberly Peirce. Follow “Ted” The Vulgar Teddy Bear On Facebook and Twitter

The red band trailer for Seth MacFarlane’s Ted debuted this weekend online, and it’s a tale about “a grown man (Mark Wahlberg) who must deal with the cherished teddy bear who came to life as the result of a childhood wish…and has refused to leave his side ever since.” The CGI bear, voiced by MacFarlane (channeling Peter Griffin), also has a social media presence.

April Fools Starts Early With Conan O’Brien Buying Mashable

“Man of Steel” Facebook Page Debuts New Superman Logo

Briefly: Zack Snyder’s Superman film Man of Steel has finally earned some followers to its Facebook page today, as the page debuted a new logo for Supes as part of their cover image (seen above). The film’s theatrical release of June 14th, 2013 is still over a year away, but we’ll be keeping an eye out on this Facebook page for more developments.
