Pixar Announces Easter Egg Hunt On Disney Movies Anywhere Streaming Site

Pixar has a habit of hiding nifty little Easter Eggs in each of their films. Whether its nods to the classroom A113 or the Luxo Ball, or a tease of what’s to come, you’re more then likely to find some sort of Pixar related reference in each of these films.

Now, just in time for Easter Sunday, Pixar has an Easter Egg hunt of their own you can participate in just by using the “Discover” section of the “Disney Movies Anywhere” streaming site.

“Gone Girl” Trailer Launches A Terrific Bone Chilling Viral Campaign

David Fincher may have dropped out as director of Sony Pictures’ upcoming Steve Jobs’ biopic, but we still have his adaptation of Gillian Flynn‘s mega-bestseller Gone Girl to look forward to. Now at first it may seem like a film like this would not have a viral marketing campaign. But if you look closely at the newly released trailer, you’ll find that it does.

It may not be as extensive as some of the other viral marketing campaigns we have covered, but the Gone Girl viral marketing does set a precedence, with it’s strange website, and interesting faux tip hotline.

“Sharknado 2: The Second One” Offers Fans To Create A Scene With New Indiegogo Project

Whether or not you liked (or even seen) Sharknado, the TV Movie has become a cult smash hit. The ratings were so good that SyFy quickly commissioned a sequel appropriately titled Sharknado 2: The Second One. Now those who are a fan of the film or just have enough money to get into the filmmaking gig can be a part of the experience by creating a scene for the film, which they will get credit for, if they are willing to pony up $50,000. “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” TV Spot Teases Master Splinter In Action

Award shows, especially ones like the MTV Movie Awards, are a great place to promote blockbuster tentpoles. The first TV spot for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles aired during the awards show last night, and while a majority of it was the teaser trailer condensed into a 30 spot, it does give us our brief first look at Master Splinter, the Turtle’s master and teacher.

25 New Images From “X-Men: Days Of Future Past” Viral Site

We recently posted a viral video promoting X-Men Days Of Future Past, which focused on the 25 moments in history changed by humans and mutants from 1968 – 2018. From moments like the Kennedy Assassination, and the Chernobyl diaster, to the Mad Cow Disease Breakout in 1996 and Guantanamo Bay, and future events that will have a huge impact on the chronology of the X-Men film franchise.

X-Men Days Of Future Past will connect the different generations of X-Men film franchises into one cohesive universe. The mutants of X-Men, X2: X-Men United, and X-Men: The Last Stand working together with the mutants of X-Men: First Class to prevent a future without mutants. Without humans.

Spider-Man’s Deadliest Villains, Carnage and Venom, Mentioned On “The Amazing Spider-Man 2″ Viral Site

One of the concerns fans had about The Amazing Spider-Man 2 was that it was chock full of villains. Aleksei Sytsevich aka The Rhino (Paul Giamatti), Max Dillion aka Electro (Jamie Foxx), and Green Goblin (Dane DeHaan) will all be fighting Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield) in the highly anticipated sequel. But for those villains who didn’t get a starring role, they have been introduced via the film’s official viral site The Daily Bugle Tumblr Blog.

Shocker, Puma, Doc Ock, Vulture, Hobgoblin, are just some of the villains that have been mentioned on the site. Now The Daily Bugle is adding two more villains to the viral marketing rouge gallery: Carnage and Venom.

The Vulture Makes Front Page News On “The Amazing Spider-Man 2″ Viral Site

The lack of interesting news on The Amazing Spider-Man 2 viral site wasn’t even worth mentioning. Though it appeared just to be trolling, the site was a nice way to bridge the gap between Marc Webb’s superhero sequel and the first film. Second and third-tier character appeared on the site ranging from Shocker and Puma to Miles Warren aka The Jackal and Spencer Smythe the creator of the Spider Slayers.

Now a new update is of greater interest then those villains because the trailers and clips have alluded to him. Adrian Toomes makes an appearance in the latest edition of The Daily Bugle tumblr post, and he doesn’t look like he will be staying in OsCorp’s employment for very long.
