Saturday is notoriously the busiest and biggest day at San Diego Comic Con, and with that the endless parade of quality cosplay has continued into the weekend. With all the big panels going on inside Hall H you can often forget all the other amazing things happening in and around the convention center itself, again including that great cosplay. Saturday’s line of costumes included the likes of  formal wear Bane, a Deadpool ready for The Rapture, to Captain Jack (but which one?), and Transformers free of the Bayhem. Marvel and Disney Tease “Something Weird” Ahead of D23 Expo

Marvel fans who somehow were not content enough to receive first looks at Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Guardians of the Galaxy, as well as the name unveiling of The Avengers: Age of Ultron at Comic-Con should take solace in the upcoming D23 Expo being held this weekend at Disneyland in California. Many assumed the studio did not show their entire hand at Comic-Con, that more announcements are on the way, and now we have received our first teaser for what one of them may be. C2E2 2013: The Hunger Games Costume Exhibition and Auction

The Windy City is once again the focus of the geek world as this weekend celebrates the fourth annual Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo (C2E2) at McCormick Place. While not near the scope or impact of the San-Diego Comic Con or the New York Comic Con, C2E2 has solidified itself as the biggest convention in the Midwest and a summit for all things comics, television, movies, and pop culture. As in years past, I have represented the site to bring just a little of the show to you, and I’ll be doing that again this year. Marvel’s “Captain America” To Debut At Comic-Con

San Diego Comic-Con is just two days away (if you count preview night), so some of the outside events are just now getting finalized and announced. We already knew that Marvel would be having a strong presence at the convention considering The Avengers opens next May and Captain America: The First Avenger opens this very weekend. Now we know that there will be Captain America screenings all day on Thursday, starting with a free one at 10am with Steve Rogers himself, Chris Evans, introducing it.
