“The Walking Dead Escape: San Diego” To Recreate Apocalypse In Petco Park

News about what to expect at the upcoming San Diego Comic-Con in July is slowly trickling out, but one event has just been announced that may set the tone for the entire show. Robert Kirkman, writer of The Walking Dead and head of Skybound Entertainment, recently announced plans for The Walking Dead Escape San Diego, an ambitious and epic zombie-themed obstacle and survival course held at Petco Park near the San Diego Convention Center. “Comic-Con Episode IV: A Fan’s Hope” Morgan Spurlock Interview

The San Diego Comic-Con is one of the largest pop culture gatherings that any one person can experience. For four days, the sunny city of San Diego is populated by Spider-Man fans, Doctor Who followers, Cosplayers, and everything else geek. But there are some elements not known to those who attend the Con with one goal in mind. There are the comic book buyers, the costumers, the collectors, the job seekers, and many more. Comic-Con 2011: “Tin Tin” Panel Video With Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson

One of my favorite panels this weekend at Comic-Con was the Hall H presentation of The Adventures of Tin Tin, which was on Friday. Comic-Con 2011: Roundtable with Robert Rodriguez

After Robert Rodriguez had his Comic-Con panel to talk about his new Quick Draw Productions, he sat down for a roundtable interview to go into more specifics on what the company is for, as well as to talk about his other upcoming projects. Leslie Sobon, VP of global product and outbound marketing of AMD, was there as well, since the computer hardware company has partnered with Rodriguez and his production company.
