Johnny Knoxville and the rest of the Jackass gang are making parody videos for all the Best Picture nominees at this year’s Critics’ Choice Movie Awards, which airs tomorrow night on VH1. First up is their spoof of Inception, which I have to say falls flat for me. Let us know what you think in the comments after the break, which is where you can find said video.
A very cool video has been spreading throughout the blogosphere today, and for good reason. It features the track “Dream is Collapsing” from the soundtrack to Inception combined with high definition time lapse footage of various locations around the planet. The guys from “How It Should Have Ended” are back, and this time they are taking on Christopher Nolan’s Inception. They focus mostly on the fact that everyone’s personal issues would screw with the dream, and it’s pretty funny. Let us know what you think in the comments, and watch the video below.
Every so often, Google likes to change their homepage logo to illustrate something timely. Often called a “Google Doodle”, it is usually done to commemorate a significant anniversary or holiday, and given how big Google is, it tends to get people talking. Often we find a way to tie in movies to the subject (see our Pi Day article for a great example of that). Fortunately, we don’t have to stretch the concept at all today, as Google celebrates the 71st anniversary of The Wizard of Oz.
As to be expected, we’ve seen a lot of Inception parodies since Christopher Nolan’s large scale dream movie was released last month. Fortunately, they are mostly still funny, like this recent video from Bath Boys Comedy, in which the Leo DiCaprio character specializes in a very different type of security. Vaginal security.
