Apple’s “I’m a Mac….and I’m a PC” commercials have created many spoofs and copies, but none have been taken as far as YouTube user ItsJustSomeRandomGuy‘s “Hi, I’m a Marvel….and I’m a DC” series. The channel, which features ads, spin-offs, reviews, parodies, and more, has finally reached 100 videos. There’s no better way to celebrate 100 episodes than a musical, so turn up your speakers after the jump.

Well, that didn’t take long. Today (last night?) we had the midnight showings for Paramount and Marvel’s Iron Man 2, and unless you saw it in IMAX (i.e. me), then you saw the teaser trailer for the J.J. Abrams-produced Super 8 (also from Paramount). If you didn’t see it, you’re in luck, because the trailer has hit the web, and even in low quality and small size, it’s impressive. Let’s see a show of hands. Who knew that Iron Man would turn into the hit that it was? Truth is, not many. Iron Man turned out to be a hugely unexpected success and was the 2nd highest grossing film of 2008 in the US. Everyone from the fans to the critics were taken by surprise, not least the studio, Paramount, who were quick to realise the success of the film and bankroll the sequel. So does Iron Man 2 have the metal to be as good as the highest grossing film of 2008, The Dark Knight?

Yesterday we reported that a secret teaser trailer would premiere before Iron Man 2 this weekend. There are very few details on the J.J. Abrams-produced movie, currently titled Super 8, but we know that the trailer itself is being directed by Abrams. There was speculation, and even a timid confirmation, that the movie would be connected to Cloverfield. It turns out that is not the case, as you’ll find out when you hit the jump.

Earlier today, it was announced that J.J. Abrams was going to attach a trailer to Marvel Studios’ Iron Man 2. This morning we got word that a new trailer for a currently unknown movie will be shown with Iron Man 2 at its midnight showings across the United States. Iron Man 2 has already earned over $100 million at the box office across the seas, but no word about this new mysterious trailer from J.J Abrams has been mentioned until earlier this morning, so the trailer itself is seemingly only being released in the United States. Many people speculate and hope that it’s the much anticipated Cloverfield sequel, due to the same unique style of the original teaser trailer for Cloverfield released in front of Transformers back in 2007.
