Back in January, I was on the SuperHeroHype Iron Man 2 boards when a user called “Masterle247″ debuted his first attempt at the War Machine suit featured in the upcoming Marvel Studios movie Iron Man 2. This suit grabbed the attention of Iron Man and Iron Man 2 director Jon Favreau via Twitter, who then retweeted the suit to his followers. Well, Masterle247 is back and this time he’s bringing a screen-accurate version of War Machine with a working (though fake) mini-gun and everything! Read and see more of it after the jump!

College Humor is known for their videos that showcase how two movies are extremely similar. The call the series “Deja View”, and they’ve done some great ones in the past, including Star Trek vs. Star Wars, and Dude Where’s My Car? vs. The Hangover. A similarly themed video mashed up Avatar and Fern Gully. Their latest “Deja View” pits Iron Man and Batman Begins against each other. While these videos tend to illuminate the problem of unoriginality in Hollywood, the Batman and Iron Man comparisons go beyond that. Many have said that Iron Man is the Batman of the Marvel Universe. AC/DC is one of the most iconic hard rock bands of all time and Marvel Studio’s Iron Man is one of the most successful comic book films, so why not mix the two? In Iron Man we were given “Iron Man” by yet another iconic band, Black Sabbath, and the fans completely loved it – some even going as far as saying it couldn’t be topped by any other band.

While we wait for news of anymore viral for this summer’s Iron Man 2, there’s a couple of interesting stories and theories circulating the web worth mentioning. First of all, Variety reports that S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Coulson (Clark Gregg) will make an apperance in both Iron Man 2 and Thor, which just started shooting recently.
