Briefly: In the vein of other endless running games like Temple Run, Warner Bros. has released Metropolis Mayhem, an online game on the Man of Steel homepage. Fly Superman through Metropolis and earn points by collecting the power-ups. Use your heat vision to destroy any obstacles that you cannot avoid. Briefly: Last month, the Man of Steel viral campaign got a jolt in the form of a transmission from Zod to Superman. In a similar fashion, the Man of Steel homepage has another transmission when you first enter the site. We have the same static noise, but with “You Are Not Alone” flashing word-by-word and in different languages. Given that there will supposedly be a new trailer in front of Fast and Furious 6, and that every other viral event has lead to a trailer, I think we all know where this is going. Once the trailer goes up or something else happens, we’ll let you know. Thanks to the Man of Steel fan page for the heads up.
Warner Bros.’ Superman reboot Man of Steel is less than a month away, and much of the plot is still a mystery. Fortunately, DC has made available to Walmart advance ticket holders a prequel comic that gives a bit of insight to the film. For those who didn’t buy their special Walmart tickets, you can read the entire comic here. After the break, we’ll give a (spoilerish) review of the comic and how it might play into the movie itself.

Los Angeles-based creative production company WILL & TALE have created an impressive opening title sequence for Man of Steel. Since it gives some back story and actually shows Superman, it looks like they assumed the film would start with Superman already established in Metropolis. Thus, all the plot points we’ve heard about and seen in the trailers will be done through flashbacks or other means. Either way, it looks great, so check it out after the break.
On Sunday night, General Zod issued a warning to Earth, that if Kal-El did not turn himself in, Zod would make our planet “suffer the consequences.” A countdown went live at www.iwillfindhim.com for 48 hours later.
