“Captain America” Continues Odd Promotional Campaign With Dunkin’ Donuts Partnership

A couple weeks back, we covered a Captain America: The First Avenger viral website, “Hunt the Red Skull,” that was launched in conjunction with the film’s promotional partnership with Wrigley’s chewing gum products. It appears Marvel has reached out further to eating establishments, and launched an even larger campaign with Dunkin’ Donuts. The “Unlock the Lab” campaign provides the opportunity for visitors to see what is inside Dr. Erskine’s laboratory. No Hall H Panel For Marvel Studios At Comic-Con

Marvel Studios’ Thor is one epic journey that should not be taken by the faint of heart. Many people thought it couldn’t be done. They asked, “How are you gonna do Thor?” The comics are full of magic, myth and action; a challenge to put onto the screen. When it was announced that Kenneth Branagh would be directing, I was in doubt. Branagh, being a classically trained, Shakespearian actor wouldn’t know his way around a comic book movie!
