By now you must have heard the news that Community will live on to see season 6. While fans every where have already shared their thoughts using the #communityliveson on social media platforms, we haven’t officially heard from the cast of Community. Some of the major fan groups of NBC’s Hannibal (or “Fannibals” as they call themselves) are coming together for a Twitter campaign today at 2 pm Eastern to help save the show. With no word yet on Hannibal‘s fate and NBC’s official slate of programming being announced on May 12th, the “Fannibals” have taken it upon themselves to let the Peacock Network know how much they want it renewed. As some of you may already know, NBC surprised everyone by announcing that they would be relaunching the cult series hit Heroes. NBC made the announcement earlier tonight during the Olympic Primetime. Titled Heroes Reborn, the series will make it’s return for a 13 episode run in 2015. But before all of that can happen, the network will launch a digital series to introduce the characters you will see in the new series. Obviously there will be new characters introduced to the series, but series creator Tim Kring says we should not rule out past characters returning to the series.

NBC’s newest show Hannibal, based on the infamous fictional cannibal with class, debuted last night. To promote the show, NBC has taken Hannibal all across the social media board, including a Facebook app where Dr. Lector has you and your friends for dinner. Last year, Travis Richey set out to bring Inspector Spacetime to the small screen after appearing on Community as the character, a spoof of Doctor Who. After the idea was shot down by NBC and Sony, Richey took matters into his own hands and decided to create his own web series using the Inspector Spacetime character and Kickstarter to fund the project. NBC told him that he could not use the character name, but that did not stop him. NBC’s Community was originally scheduled to air its Season 4 Premiere episode tonight. However, earlier this month NBC indefinitely postponed the premiere of the sitcom about a community college study group. For fans like myself who have feared the show’s cancellation for a few seasons now, the news is grim. However, our favorite study group is here to cheer us up in a video released by NBC.
