So yesterday was the Big Game. No matter if you love football or loathe it, the best part of every Super Bowl is the commercials. And every year, some of those commercials hit it out of the park and some just fizzle. Last night was no exception. We’ve put together a special Viral Video Round-Up showcasing some of the film and television spots from last night. Check them out after the break!

First up is Metlife Insurance’s ad featuring many classic cartoon characters including Scooby-Doo and Mystery, Inc., JabberJaw, He-Man and of course, the Peanuts gang.

Seinfeld went off the air fourteen years ago, so it was nice to see Jerry reunited with one of the most iconic characters from the series, The Soup Nazi, in this spot featuring the Acura NSX.

Act of Valor stars a group of active duty Navy SEALs in an “…unprecedented blend of real-life heroism and original filmmaking.” It’s a very interesting concept and the teaser was quite powerful.

We previously covered this spot, but here it is again. Matthew Broderick as himself, playing hookie from a shoot in this ad from Honda.

To access the app, all you gotta do is head to the Smash Facebook page, and click Smash Yourself on the left side panel. I don’t know about you guys, but I frequently smash myself both on and off Facebook.

From there you choose your image and proceed. I chose my most manly photo, seeing as how I’ll be seconds away from gracing the cover of Playbill magazine, which is far from masculine.

I was starting to get excited the further I got into the app. I was picturing myself on stage with the actors in a kooky, Face in Hole-type scenario, but, well, what can I say? I was disappointed with the result.

It literally just puts a magazine-esque border around your photo. That’s it, that’s all. This could be so much better but it isn’t. It fizzles out soon after you light up.

I expected better from you, NBC, but ya let me down. “Smash” premieres February 6th after “The Voice”, but you guys know that, because it’s plastered all over the app.

Due to some unfortunate events, Greendale Community College has to shut down for a few months. So the students and staff put together this little video to highlight all of Greendale’s best features in hopes to garner the public’s support so that they may open again soon.

The NBC sitcom Community has become a favorite amongst the Internet savvy, and the show has rewarded us nerds with such viral gems as a Twitter episode and storyline an Abed storyline that played out entirely in the background of an episode. Now the show has taken it to the next level with a joke that has taken three seasons to complete, and it involves Beetlejuice. Check it out after the break.

In the video below, found by ComicBookMovie.com, YouTube user brayd1377 cuts together scenes from three episodes in which the word “Beetlejuice” is spoken. Each episode is in a different season, culminating in last month’s Halloween episode where the character Beetlejuice actually walks by in the background. In case you are minor or live under a rock, in the film Beetlejuice, the title character shows up whenever you say his name three times. This is a very clever gag that 99% of people would never catch on to, which is why the Internet is so great. Take a look below.

Last night on NBC’s Saturday Night Live, actor Charlie Day hosted with Maroon 5 as the musical guest. There were three movie/TV-related skits, including Day making a dolphin movie, Day as a cop who doesn’t watch television, and of course a Kim Kardashian divorce special. Watch all the videos after the break.

If you tuned in to last night’s episode of “Parks And Recreation”, you witnessed Andy and April’s bright idea to head out West in April’s father’s new Volkswagon Passat. It’s at this moment that a new web-series, appropriately titled “April & Andy’s Road Trip”, begins to rev it’s engine.

In first webisode, we find out April has arachnicornucopia. Trust me, it’s makes sense.

NBC has also launched a companion site, with scrapbooks, an interactive road map, and a photo submission area, which allows you to pinpoint your location on the map. Those goodies are located here, which is also home to the five webisodes.

“Parks And Recreation” airs Thursdays at 8:30/7:30c on NBC. If you aren’t convinced the show is funny, then head here for my favorite Tom Haverford scene.

Briefly: NBC’s new drama Grimm, which brings the Grimm’s Fairy Tales to the modern world, debuts on October 28th, but NBC promoted their Twitter account for the show by allowing followers to get the first crack at the pilot episode. On the new NBC comedy Up All Night, SNL alum Maya Rudolph plays ambitious but vulnerable talk-show host Ava. In the third episode airing tonight, we learn that Ava once had a different career in front of the camera. After the break, check out her music video featuring former SNL writer and Lonely Island band member Jorma Taccone.

NBC is one of the networks that usually does some really cool viral marketing, and they do a great job of communicating with us about their efforts. So, I decided to take this opportunity to showcase their new shows that are coming this Fall so that you can follow them in case they do something cool. Determined not to compromise her career or cool reputation to the cliches of motherhood, Reagan adjusts to life with a baby and returns to work with the support of her stay-at-home husband, Chris (Will Arnett, “Arrested Development”). As Reagan and Chris figure out their new life, self-doubt, sleep deprivation and the pressure of today’s parenting protocols rattle their confidence. What’s more, the endless needs of Reagan’s boss, ambitious but vulnerable talk-show host Ava (Maya Rudolph, “Saturday Night Live,” “Bridesmaids”), threaten to throw Reagan off balance.

Free Agents: Hank Azaria (“The Simpsons,” “Huff”) stars as newly divorced Alex, who is missing his kids and trying to keep himself together. Alex’s co-worker Helen (Kathryn Hahn, “Hung”) thinks she has it together, but she drinks too much in order to cope with her fiance’s untimely death. It’s no surprise then when these two overworked public relations executives share an ill-fated night of passion and are forced to cope with the awkward aftermath.

Whitney: NBC’s new multi-camera comedy “Whitney” is a hilarious look at modern day love, which centers around Whitney (Whitney Cummings, “Chelsea Lately”) and Alex (Chris D’Elia, “Glory Daze”), a happily unmarried couple. Together for three years, the duo is in no rush to get hitched, which seems to get a mixed response from their friends.

Prime Suspect: If being a homicide detective in New York isn’t tough enough, having to contend with a male-dominated police department to get respect makes it that much tougher. And that’s exactly what Jane Timoney (Maria Bello) has to do. She’s an outsider who was just transferred to a new precinct where a fraternity of cops isn’t willing to give her the benefit of the doubt – especially given the way they think she got the job after an illicit affair with her boss.

Grimm: “Grimm” is a new drama series inspired by the classic Grimm’s Fairy Tales.Portland homicide Detective Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli, “Turn The Beat Around”) discovers he is descended from an elite line of criminal profilers known as “Grimms,” charged with keeping balance between humanity and the mythological creatures of the world.
