Johnny Knoxville and the rest of the Jackass gang are making parody videos for all the Best Picture nominees at this year’s Critics’ Choice Movie Awards, which airs tomorrow night on VH1. First up is their spoof of Inception, which I have to say falls flat for me. Let us know what you think in the comments after the break, which is where you can find said video.
I guess we should have saw this coming. Last week Apple announced “Ping”, an iTunes-based social networking system designed around music. While there has been some criticism about whether the service is even necessary, there has been even more about how difficult it is to set up. The group Wooden Nickel Shorts have created a parody trailer of The Social Network that revolves around Ping.
While the trailer for M. Night Shyamalan’s Devil has caused a stir for the wrong reason (despite it looking good, audiences groan out loud when his name comes up), Shyamalan has kept a good sense of humor. He stars in a Devil parody trailer featured on MTV called “Escalation”, where instead of being stuck on an elevator, they are stuck on an escalator. The video also stars MTV reporter Josh Horowitz, Avatar baddie Stephen Lang and Penthouse Pet Ryan Keely. Watch it after the break.

As to be expected, we’ve seen a lot of Inception parodies since Christopher Nolan’s large scale dream movie was released last month. Fortunately, they are mostly still funny, like this recent video from Bath Boys Comedy, in which the Leo DiCaprio character specializes in a very different type of security. Vaginal security.
