Check Out SNL’s Live Action “Ambiguously Gay Duo”

The Ambiguously Gay Duo animated shorts have been a staple on NBC’s Saturday Night Live since it came over from The Dana Carvey Show in 1996. The series follows Ace (voiced by Stephen Colbert) and Gary (voiced by Steve Carell), a superhero team that might be gay, which ends up helping to distract the villains they face. Last night NBC’s Saturday Night Live aired a new episode with Tina Fey hosting. We got our first Lonely Island Digital Short in a while, and it was a music video with guest Michael Bolton having trouble focusing on the topic of the song because he had been watching a Pirates of the Caribbean marathon. Latest SNL Digital Short “The Creep” Goes Viral, Of Course

Saturday Night Live‘s Digital Shorts have been one of the shows few saving graces in recent years, and it seems like any time the feature is a music video, it goes viral immediately. SNL castmember Andy Samberg and SNL writers Akiva Schaffer and Jorma Taccone make up the comedy group The Lonely Island that produce the Digital Shorts.
