Fan Video: “Scott Pilgrim Vs. 60 Seconds”

There is no denying it, Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World has gone down as one of the most under appreciated films of 2010. But that is not stopping its fan base or me from making it a cult favorite. Edgar Wright knows when his work is appreciated, and an in turn he he shows how appreicative he is of their work by posting links on his twitter or blog. Wright posted a link on his twitter that leads to a fan made video created by MegaSteakMan. The video carries the same story as Edgar Wright’s but with cheaper and more imitable effects. While I find that end of the year top ten lists can get monotonous after a while, I’m always intrigued by analytical lists, which are backed by numbers, not opinion. Quenching my analytical thirst, Twitter has compiled their most popular trending topics into categorized top ten lists, including one for the most tweeted movies of 2010. A Mash-Up of Edgar Wright’s Films

Edgar Wright has to be one of the top director’s of this generation. With a sense and style he can call his own Wright has directed three incredible films: Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, and Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World. But if you don’t know one or any of the three, now is your chance to get acquainted with them. Wright posted a link to a video that includes scenes from all three of his films on his twitter account today. With the release of the film just a handful of days away, and already a giant Comic-Con buzz surrounding Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, creating a viral campaign honestly was never needed. We’ve covered a few interactive trailers here at MovieViral, and I find them to be really impressive when done right. They are like the Blu-Ray version of trailers, as they let you get into the movie and sometimes learn more about the plot and characters. Scott Pilgrim vs. The World joins the fray as Yahoo! Many movie studios and TV networks brought all their goodies to the event this year in hopes of gaining positive buzz from the most important people to their franchises, the fans themselves.
