Skynet Becomes Self Aware, Twitter Notices

Terminator

Briefly: In the fictional historical/future timeline of the Terminator franchise (specifically The Sarah Connor Chronicles), Skynet, the artificial intelligence system created by the US Military, becomes self aware today, April 19th, at 8:11pm. Skynet is the main antagonist of the franchise, waging war with humans and creating the Terminator cyborgs we’ve come to know and love. The Internet has taken notice, with “Skynet” trending worldwide on Twitter. At least now the robots don’t have the element of surprise on their side.

MovieViral.com isn’t known for posting political new, but since this involves a certain governor and a director I think we can make an exception. Viral Video Trend: Remixes

Thanks to the wonders of technology, it is easier than ever to edit video and showcase your talents online. We’ve seen these editing skills in all sorts of ways, with my particular being recut movie trailers to make them look like another genre (check out this Sleepless in Seattle horror trailer). Another trend that is more recent is adding Auto-Tune to pretty much everything. Add those together and you get the most recent trend: Remixing films to create a music video. Not sure what I mean? Check out these popular videos below that remix Up and Terminator 2, both created by YouTuber Pogo.

Apparently these videos are created using only sounds from the respective movies, which is even more impressive. What do you think? Check out Pogo’s YouTube channel to see even more videos.
