Update On Louisiana Forest Monster: Possibly Viral For “Resistance 3″?

Yesterday morning we brought you the story of the Louisiana Forest Monster and how one of the theories behind it is that it’s somehow part of the Super 8 viral and is actually the monster from the J.J. New ‘Star Wars Arcade’ App Seats You in the Millennium Falcon

I don’t own an iPhone or the iPod Touch, so I have been unable to enjoy the thousands of apps that have come out in recent years. If I did though, this would be the first one I would download. THQ Wireless Inc. has released a new mobile game called Star Wars Arcade: Falcon Gunner. The first-person shooting game places you inside the Millennium Falcon as you battle TIE Fighters and Star Destroyers at different galaxy locales. Viral Video for Sony 3D Playstation 3 or Even the PS4?

This year at E3 (the Electronic Entertainment Expo), the buzz was all about gestures and 3D. Nintendo released their new 3DS portable game system, while Sony debuted the new 3D technology to be added to the Playstation 3. Sony and Microsoft both released their new gesture-control accessories the Playstation Move and XBox Kinect, respectively. While none of these new products were a surprise, last week a video popped up that seemed to tease either the PS3′s 3D tech or even a new Playstation all together.

The site was revealed last week after packages were sent to video game websites and fans alike, throwing us into wild speculation. But that was then, so I assume that speculation has been answered? GKNOVA6: Viral Site For Unknown Video Game Discovered – Fallout or Call of Duty?

A new website for an unknown video game has been discovered by IGN and Joystiq, after they received a package from somewhere in Maryland. The site plays a video, which you can watch after the jump. Initial rumors suggest that this site, www.gknova6.com, is related to an upcoming Bethesda release – Fallout: New Vegas. But not so fast, it may be for an upcoming Activision video game – Call of Duty 7 (rumored to be called “Black Ops”). What is clear? Well, the site includes multiple references to the Cold War, including photographs of John F. Kennedy delivering a speech about the Cuban Missile Crisis. But we’ll speculate about which title this is really for after the jump.

LOST Island in Video Game Just Cause 2

How’s this for an Easter Egg? Just Cause 2, the much anticipated sequel to the 2006 hit video game, released on Tuesday. The reviews have been very solid so far, but it’s not just the great open-ending gameplay that’s getting high marks and recognition.
