THX Tune-up App Calibrates Home Theater With Lucas Sound Technology

We here at MovieViral love our apps, some more than others, but any app that gives us an enhanced user experience is a great app. Of course the app would have to be user friendly but also very sophisticated so that it would not be a dull experience. Thankfully, the THX app is one of those apps.

You may be familiar with the THX name, has it usually makes some sort of profound booming sound before the start of every film. The LucasFilm technology gives moviegoers an immersive sound that makes you feel like you are in the middle of the action. It’s a fairly simple app that allows you to make the most out of your home entertainment experience. Seeing as most entertainment systems differ from household to household, the app has tutorials to help you adjust and confirm the best picture settings on your display based on your room lighting. The app also has a sound check option too help you make the most out of your speakers. At the end of the detailed descriptions, the app mentions that this is not a professional calibration too and that it’s not intended to replace an in-home professional calibration.
