BIG TROUBLE IN LITTLE HOLLYWOOD
DON’T REMAKE THESE MOVIES: An Open Letter
Dear Hollywood
With the shocking (yet hardly surprising) news that you intend to remake / reboot The Fugitive, Big Trouble in Little China AND attempt some half-baked live action Fantasia; I felt compelled to write a quick open letter.
STOP re-making stuff! If you HAVE to re-make something, then choose something BAD so you can IMPROVE on it. Meantime, just give it up?
You CAN do this!
Listen to me, I’m your friend. I genuinely want to HELP! This re-making thing is an ADDICTION! You need serious cold turkey and rehab. None of this ‘oh just one more won’t hurt’ or ‘I can control this’. No. You have a PROBLEM. This is tough love and one day you’ll thank me for it.
To make that message even EASIER to digest, I am attaching the following list of movies that are re-make proof.
DO NOT EVEN THINK about TOUCHING these flawless classics.
